Jody L. Stahancyk | Board of Directors President

Jody Stahancyk has served as the President of the Child Centered Solutions Board of Directors since its foundation in 2006. A pillar of the legal community, Jody continually advocates for the rights of children in high-conflict domestic relations cases. Additionally, her law firm, Stahancyk, Kent & Hook PC, supports CCS with in-kind donations and volunteer support.

Sharon Hennessee | Marketing Consultant

Sharon Hennessee has worked for many private sector companies including Sony Disc Manufacturing, Pierce Corporation and the Eugene Water and Electric Board, she was employed in various marketing roles with Nike, Inc. for thirteen years. Currently Sharon serves as Program Manager for the Portland African-American Leadership Forum, under the fiscal management of the Urban League of Portland.

With a heart for people, especially children and young women in crisis, Sharon has give a lot of time as a volunteer for non-profit organizations such as the Urban League, NAACP ACT-SO, ESP Youth Basketball Coach, various ministry and women’s organizations.

Katie Jeremiah | Attorney at Law

Katie Jeremiah was raised in a logging and construction family and has sense focused her education and career in the area of construction. As an attorney at Jordan Ramis, Katie works in matters involving construction and mining law.

Katie graduated from Oregon State University with a bachelor of science degree in construction engineering management and from Lewis & Clark Law School with dual certificates in environmental law and business law. While at Oregon State University, Katie served as president for the student chapter of the Associated General Contractors. She was an engineering intern for Kiewit Pacific Co. on an advanced national fiber optic network project in Washington state (Level (3) Communications), and for Granite Construction in Carson City, NV.

Andrew Miller | CEO, Stimson Lumber Company

Andrew Miller joined Stimson Lumber Company in 1991 as Strategic Planning Manager. He was promoted to Vice-President of Western Operations in 1993 and Executive Officer in April 2003. Prior to joining Stimson Lumber Company, he was Mill Manager for Northwest Hardwoods, a division of Weyerhaeuser, in Onalaska, WI. Andrew is a graduate of Grinnell College and earned his MBA at Columbia University.

Andrew has served as past Chairman of the Western Wood Products Association and currently continues to serve as a member of the Board. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Western Rivers Conservancy and the Board of Trustees of the Pacific Northwest College of Art, all located in Portland, Oregon.

Peter Watts | Attorney at Law

Peter Watts graduated from the University of Oregon School of Law and earning an advanced degree in taxation at the University of Washington School of Law, he spent a year as a litigation associate with a mid-sized Portland law firm working on complex litigation. Peter is actively involved in the Clackamas County Business Alliance and serves as the Chair of the CCBA’s land use committee. In addition, Peter serves as the Chair of the Clackamas County Tourism Department Council. Peter has served as a member of the Make-A-Wish Foundation’s Junior Board of Directors since 2005. He is a former committee member of the Portland Opera’s Bel Canto Club and a former member of the Gus Solomon Inns of Court. While attending law school at the University of Oregon, Peter served as the law school’s Student Senator for three years and spent two terms as University of Oregon’s Senate President. Additionally, Peter served as a board member on the University of Oregon Bookstores Board of Directors, as one of five student members on the University of Oregon faculty Senate, as a member of the University’s distinguished Service Award Committee, and as a clerk at the United States Attorney’s Office.

Peter is a member of Jordan Ramis’s Dirt LawÒ and Business practice groups, assisting clients with tax and general business issues.
