The PDXWingMen, a Portland-based fundraising group, hosted an Urban Cowboy-themed party for Child Centered Solutions on June 19th, 2010 that raised over $3,000. Three of the WingMen presented the CCS staff with the donation on July 13th, 2010.

Leslie Abraham received the twelfth annual Harpole Award on April 7th, 2010. This award is given to one attorney each year who is "dedicated to the pursuit of justice while maintaining a sense of balance between career, family and community."
Additionally, Lewis & Clark Law School's quarterly publication Advocate highlighted Leslie's work with Child Centered Solutions in its Summer 2010 edition.

On Friday, November 20, 2009, Jenny Gilmore, along with three other recipients from Portland-area non-profits, was presented with the prestigious Skidmore Prize from Willamette Week and Momentum Marketing Intellegence. Click here for the article about the awards ceremony.

Stahancyk, Kent & Hook has agreed to continue their donation of office space to CCS through 2009. Donation of this space is fundamentally important to the continued success of CCS.
'Feast with the Beast' a Success for Child Centered Solutions
Child Centered Solutions (CCS) hosted “Feast with the Beast,” a benefit dinner on Thursday, June 12, 2008 at the law offices of Stahancyk, Kent, Johnson & Hook. Renowned Portland chef Naomi Pomeroy of Beast, The Oregonian’s Restaurant of the Year, catered a five-course gourmet meal for more than forty distinguished guests.
The evening was a great success, and CCS was very fortunate to receive a $50,000 challenge grant in anticipation of this event, and an additional $46,000 was raised in gifts that night.
Guest speaker Bill Eddy gave a preview of his lecture on Handling High Conflict Families while Helping Their Children that he presented in full at a CCS – sponsored seminar at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral the following day. Mr. Eddy is a co-founder and President of the High Conflict Institute, LLC, in Scottsdale, Arizona and Senior Family Mediator at the National Conflict Resolution Center in San Diego, California.
With the help of our generous donors and volunteers, CCS has been able to make a difference in the lives of hundreds of children in our first year of operations.
We found that our annual appeal last year at this time was one of the major factors that contributed to the success of our our clients and our organization as a whole in 2007.
We ask that during this holiday season, you consider the thousands of children throughout Oregon who do not feel comfortable in their own homes because of the conflict that surrounds them.

Child Centered Solutions in partnership with Stahancyk, Kent, Johnson & Hook recently finished an incredibly successful toy drive for the Toys For Tots program. Thank you to all of those who helped provide for these children in need.
Child Centered Solutions is dedicated to providing top quality educational opportunities for those who work with children embroiled in family conflict. The latest in our biannual series of seminars and training focused on providing theory and practical skills for attorneys to provide Effective Representation of Children.
The first-ever training program of its type in Oregon, this event enabled more attorneys in our community to be adequately trained to represent children in custody and parenting time disputes.
CCS was fortunate enough to have Risa Garon as our keynote speaker. Using her nationally recognized expertise in the areas of child development and interview techniques of children, Ms. Garon presented high quality instruction and cutting edge research for attorneys who represent children.
We would like to say thank you to Samaritan Counseling Center, our presenters, attendees and to all of those who helped make this event an overwhelming success.
