Philip Stahl, PhD, ABPP (Forensic)
Dr. Philip Stahl will present a 3-hour CLE / CE on Age-Appropriate Parenting Plans on Friday, November 13, 2009 from 9 am - 12 noon (registration begins at 8:30 am). This seminar, organized by Child Centered Solutions, will take place at the Billy Frank, Jr. Conference Center in the Ecotrust Building, 721 NW 9th Avenue, Portland, Oregon.
Dr. Stahl is a psychologist in private practice who conducts child custody evaluations and provides expert witness testimony. He is a provider of continuing education for psychologists and other mental health providers, and attorneys and Family Law Specialists in California. He has conducted trainings throughout the United States and internationally for child custody evaluators and others working with high-conflict families of divorce. He has presented workshops for judges throughout the country and is on the faculty of National Judicial College and the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges. He is also a faculty member with the National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA) in a new program titled “Modern Divorce Advocacy”.

CCS, in partnership with the Henry L. Hillman, Jr. Foundation, presented nationally recognized speaker and author, Mr. Bill Eddy. Mr. Eddy is the President and co-founder The High Conflict Institute and author of High Conflict People in Legal Disputes and Managing High Conflict People in Court.
This seminar focused on the effect of personality disorders on children, parents and families. In the morning Mr. Eddy will focus on understanding and managing high conflict parents, with a particular focus on the role of personailty disorders such as narcissim and the role they play in this process. In the afternoon Mr. Eddy will focus on assisting children with attachment, alienation and abuse issues.

Child Centered Solutions, in partnership with Samaritan Counseling Centers presented the Effective Representation of Children training, featuring Risa Garon, author and Executive Director of the Natioanal Family Resiliency Center.
The first ever training of its kind in Oregon, this event provided both theory and practical skills, enabling more attorneys in our community to be adequately trained to represent children in custody and parenting time disputes.
This event was approved for 7.25 CLE credit hours.
